About Jerry Trask
Jerry Trask holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in accounting & finance, is an Enrolled Agent, and is a financial advisor representative registered with FINRA, and has years of experience in accounting, financial management and business management.
Jerry began his career working as a cost accountant and financial analyst for Keyes Fibre Inc., the company that developed and manufactured Chinet paper plates and other paper products. He was also a Division Controller for US Home Corp., the company who built many of the homes in the Countryside area of Clearwater, and in the Country Way & Carrollwood Village areas of Tampa, as well as other spots along the West Coast of Florida. He was the Financial Controller for the Wonder Bread Bakery in Tampa for a couple of years. He was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Pullman Construction Industries, located in Chicago, IL, which at that time, was one of the worlds' largest Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning companies. After gathering experience working side by side helping, advising, and learning from business owners, Jerry became a business owner himself: He was part owner of Health Craft, Inc. a sales & marketing company. He also started and owned several companies, including: A-1 Woodcrafters (cabinet making), Fab Tech Welding (metal fabrication and manufacturing), Guardian Rail Systems (distribution) and Suncoast Financial Services LLC.
Because of his education, training, and experience in business, he has the expertise to help and advise business owners regarding Accounting, Payroll, Taxes of all kinds, and as well as other aspects of their business.
He also has several years of experience in the financial and operational management of Christian organizations such as Family First, Accelerated Christian Education (a/k/a School of Tomorrow) and D&D Missionary Homes.
As an enrolled agent, Jerry is recognized as having technical expertise, professional ethics, and is licensed by the IRS to prepare taxes and represent taxpayers in all 50 states.
Most recently, Jerry has met the educational and testing requirements to become Certified as a Credit Counselor as well as a Social Security Analyst.
Jerry is the majority owner and managing partner of Suncoast Financial Services, LLC, a full service accounting, tax preparation, payroll processing, and financial advisory firm, located in Clearwater, Florida.
